The store also features a tapas-style winebar where shoppers can take a break and enjoy light refreshments, selected wines and Woolworths organic teas and coffees. Woolworths Melrose Arch will be making a difference to the local community in other ways as well. The store has formed a supportive partnership with St Vincent School for the Deaf and has already handed over a cheque for R5000 which will be used to purchase books and dictionaries for the school. Woolworths Melrose Arch will also regularly supply the St Vincent School with surplus food. In addition, Woolworths will be investing further in the local community through long-term development programmes.
