STYLE IS RIGHT AT HOME AT WOOLWORTHS THIS SUMMER
July 25, 2012
From the bright, tropical-inspired prints and gorgeous linens that are summer’s hottest trends to the unmistakeable style of Studio.W and the timeless elegance of W Collection, you’ll find a wealth of ways to give any room in your home a fresh new look for summer. The mix and match trend continues into the new season, with stripes and spots adding to a virtual rainbow of bold colours like reds, mauves, oranges, greens and blues in crockery. Tropical influences are featured in what Woolies home team is calling the ‘Bahia’ theme, with bright jungle florals and birds joining in the mix and match fun. Spots and stripes make their way onto bedding along with vibrant colours. The nautical pairing of blue and white is a perennial summer favourite. This season they’re joined by yellow as a highlight colour which gives it a slightly more relaxed, Bohemian-inspired feel. Glamour isn’t forgotten, either, and December brings the launch of bedding and accessories with all the bling touches to add sparkle to mid-summer. Colour, whether bright or muted, is a feature of Woolworths outdoor collection of cushions, lounger cushions and tablecloths as well as in our top quality melamine and acrylic tableware. If you love a braai, you won’t want to miss our innovative braai tray and braai wok. The first is ideal for putting things like prawns on the fire, while the ‘wok’ makes giving your veggies that real braai flavour easier than ever. Summer, of course, means Christmas, and once again this year customers will find all the holiday décor, tableware, napery and accessories they could wish for. The traditional red, gold and silver are there, along with a subtle duck egg blue and Moroccan influences that have been created by the Woolworths design team to bring a sophisticated local flair to local homes this festive season. Studio.W The understated sophistication and contemporary urban styling Studio.W is known for is clearly evident throughout the summer range, from the subtle Moroccan influences in fabric texture and pattern to the soft yellows, blues and turquoises of the season’s fabrics. In tableware, tonal shades of caramel and grey are complimented by understated pattern and white on white textures. Wood and metal remain vital elements of the Studio.W range, particularly in accent pieces and lamps in interesting and unusual shapes. W Collection Our W Collection remains an iconic range for the discerning customer who appreciates luxury as much as value. For summer they’ll find exquisite bedding, gorgeous accent pieces and beautiful tableware, including porcelain with metallic trim, leaded crystal, and heavy gauge 18/10 stainless steel cutlery. For the bathroom, there are new colours added to the range of ultra-soft, ultra-absorbent W Collection MicroCotton™ towels. Great Value for every room Quality and value are watchwords for Woolworths, and from colourfast pure cotton towels to east-care bedding to durable stainless steel pots and practical kitchenware, Woolworths Great Value ranges continue to live up to our promise of offering our customers the quality they rely on at highly competitive prices. Our summer ranges launch in selected stores from 22 August 2012.
