When Woolworths launched its new Beauty offering in 2006, it introduced the South African market to a brand-new recipe for beauty, with the freshest colours, the most delicious textures and the finest ingredients. Now the leading South African retailer really brings this to life in an innovative in-store extravaganza combining Beauty and Food. Taking place from 26 September to 7 October, the first Woolworths Beauty & Food Festival will feature beauty workshops by leading beauty editors, makeovers, mini-spa treatments, cooking demonstrations by leading foodies and Woolworths own Taste chefs – as well, of course, as the opportunity to taste some of their delicious creations while you shop. The event will feature some of Woolworths exclusive beauty brands such as REN, Freeze 24/7 and Bloom, and will also see the launch of new summer colour ranges. Fresh new summer fragrances from top international fragrance houses will also be unveiled. To add even more excitement, customers who spend R500 on beauty products will receive a bonus of a Woolworths gift card worth R100 , and Woolworths cardholders stand a chance to win a “girls’ night” for themselves and 10 of their friends with makeovers and dinner prepared by a chef – a prize valued at some R30 000. The Woolworths Beauty & Food Festival will take place only at Woolworths Sandton, Cavendish Square, Canal Walk, Eastgate, Cresta, Menlyn, Tygervalley and Gateway.
