Spend R 500 or more on any beauty products and receive a glamorous handbag. When Woolworths launched its Beauty World in 2006, it introduced the South African market to a completely new range of colour cosmetics, skin care, and bath-and-body under its own label – now endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty – as well as some of the world’s most wanted and best-known beauty brands, a number of which are available exclusively in South Africa at selected Woolworths stores countrywide. This year, the leading South African retailer will again bring this to life by means of a Beauty Festival. Taking place from 23 April to 11 May, the Woolworths Beauty Festival promises to delight customers with workshops by leading beauty brands, advice from trained make-up artists, as well as a variety of gifts-with-purchase, product promotions and special offers, some of which are exclusive to Woolworths. An additional reward for customers who spend R 500 or more on any beauty products will be a glamorous handbag. The event will feature some of Woolworths exclusive beauty brands such as Benefit and Sisley, as well as the launch of new exciting brands. New colour ranges and new limited edition fragrances from top international fragrance houses will also be unveiled. A Beauty Passport, which will be available in stores, will ensure that customers can take advantage of a selection of free offers such as coffee, brow shapes, facials, and hair analysis. Customers also stand a chance to win one of five beauty hampers each to the value of R 5000. The Woolworths Beauty Festival will take place at Woolworths Canal Walk, Cavendish Square, Cresta, Eastgate, Gateway, Menlyn, Sandton, Tygervalley, and other selected stores countrywide.
