Your home sets your mood for the season, and this summer Woolworths Homeware will surround you with bold colours, natural freshness and exciting innovations.

Expect to begin every day filled with inspiration.

Woolies is constantly searching for new products that are truly innovative, and this summer’s Homeware range will not disappoint. We have incredible new products that will not only look great in your home, but, in our quest to find more sustainable materials, products and processes, are great for the environment too.

For instance, look out for bowls and plates made from bamboo fibre in our modern outdoor dining range. This eco-friendly fibre comes from a renewable source and is both food safe and dishwasher safe.

Food safety is a top priority for us, which is why we only stock 100% melamine tableware that has been tested and retested to ensure it is 100% non-toxic and food-safe. Staying in the kitchen, don’t miss our new black pan cooking set coated with non-stick Lotus Rock ceramic. This new technology is free of toxic chemicals and is energy saving, durable and easy to clean. Ideal for you and the environment.

You can also brighten up your home with scatter cushions made from natural and sustainable imported yarns, or our beautifully crafted cushions made from recycled felt.

Woolworths sources glassware from all over the world but we are particularly proud of our glassware from Ngwenya Glass located in neighbouring Swaziland.

Ngwenya Glass has been supplying Woolworths for a number of years as the range has been included in our Artisan ranges but this Summer we are delighted to grow our Ngwenya Glass offering into our Studio.W range.

We have partnered with Ngwenya glass as not only do they create valuable jobs in our neighbouring Swaziland & produce quality glassware they also have the same sustainability values as us. Their glassware is made out of 100% recycled glass and their furnaces are powered with local recycled oil, in fact wherever possible throughout their factory they are using recycled materials.

‘Handmade artisan products are very much on trend & Ngwenya glass’ modern shapes ideally suit our modern urban Studio.W range,’ says Cecile Froehling Woolworths, Buying Group Head for Homeware  ‘Our customers love the range so we are delighted to now be able to offer them their favourite glassware in more stores.’  The range includes a wine glass, water glass and carafe.

You’ll find these and other beautiful, innovative homeware at selected Woolworths stores from mid-August 2014.
