WOOLWORTHS LAUNCHES EASY-TO-WEAR RANGE FEATURING BRIGHT COLOURS AND BOLD PRINTS
October 5, 2010
Starting this summer, South African women looking for smart, yet easy-to-wear pieces in bright colours and bold prints will find just what they’re looking for at Woolworths. The new range, which builds onto its already popular ‘Classic Collection’ and is available up to size 24, is aimed at the confident, self-assured woman who has her own style and wants to make a statement with her clothes. “She isn’t afraid to stand out in the crowd,” explains Woolworths Head of Womenswear Trevor Perren. “She’s a trend setter, but not a slave to fashion fads, and wants clothes that have something of a sassy appeal and help her show off her beautiful African curves.” The range puts as much emphasis on value as it does on style. Key items for summer include brightly printed kaftans from R299, embellished knit tops from R250, skirts (from R225) in bold prints and figure-flattering silhouettes in a range of lengths, and easy-to-wear stretch bottoms, including mock denim pants, from R325. The new range will be available from 22 September at the following Woolworths stores: Canal Walk, Sandton, Eastgate, Menlyn, Centurion, Benoni, Sammy Marks, Alberton, Kerk Street, Maponya Mall, Riverside, Midlands, Montana, Savannah, Loch Logan, Gateway, Durban West Street, Westville, Greenacres, Hemingways, Westgate.
